The Opportunity

We're looking for a Parts Interpreter to join our Kewdale Branch on a full-time fixed term contract covering maternity leave (approximately 6-12 months).

You'll be the go-to person for identifying and supplying the right parts, supporting our customers and assisting our Sales and Service teams to keep equipment operating at its best.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Interpret and identify parts across a broad range of equipment including forklifts, skid steer loaders, tow tugs, EWPs, excavators and sweepers/scrubbers.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate parts advice.
  • Source, price and supply genuine parts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support Service Technicians with parts requests to minimise downtime.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up outstanding orders.
  • Work closely with our Sales and Service teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with general branch duties as required.

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar parts role.
  • Experience using electronic parts catalogues (EPC systems).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with ERP systems such as M3, Movex or SAP (desirable).
  • Knowledge of material handling or construction equipment is advantageous but not essential.

Desirable Qualifications but not essential

  • Certificate III in Automotive Sales.
  • Experience interpreting automotive, heavy vehicle, mobile plant or material handling parts.
  • Experience using M3 or similar ERP systems.
